NAVIGATING THE TURBULENT WAVES OF ADHD

David Giwerc

There is a good chance that you know someone with ADHD/ADD - either a friend, family member or colleague, either diagnosed or not, perhaps even you. If you are a coach, it’s almost certain that you will someday have a client with ADHD.  This condition can cause a serious loss of effectiveness at work, home or school due to chronic hyperactivity, forgetfulness, lack of concentration, or impulsiveness. Come learn from the world’s leading authority on ADHD/ADD and coaching.

For those individuals who struggle with ADHD, it can be like riding a volatile wave in the ocean. They never really know where the current is going to take them. However, if they can learn which variables impact their ADHD, they can eventually develop a smoother ride through life’s unpredictable and turbulent currents.

Learn what can be done to minimize the struggles and accentuate success in order to improve the person’s quality of life? It’s essential to understand how an individual’s unique ADHD challenges show up in their life.  Without a basic understanding of how and where ADHD manifests, the same old impairing patterns will continue to expand.

During this informative and stimulating presentation, David Giwerc, MCC, Founder and President of the ADD Coach Academy, will provide you with an excellent overview of how the coaching process can successfully help anyone with ADHD. David has trained hundreds of ADD/ADHD Coaches from all over the world. His proven techniques have positively changed the quality of life for countless numbers of individuals with ADHD.

About David Giwerc:

David Giwerc is a Master Certified Coach, MCC, with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is also an ICF assessor conducting PCC and/or MCC credentialing exams. He is the Founder/President of the ADD Coach Academy, ADDCA, (founded 1998) the world’s largest and most respected ADHD coach training program.

The Academy’s advanced P ACG (The Professional ADD Coach Graduate) is the only ADHD Coach training program that is ICF approved for the coveted ACSTH (Approved Certified Specific Training Hours) designation. David has been training ADHD coaches, around the world, for over ten years, while also running a busy coaching practice dedicated to entrepreneurs with ADHD.

Giwerc is a past president of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), the world’s leading adult ADHD organization (December 2003 - June 2006) where he continues to serve on the executive committee in a variety of key strategic ADDA roles. He was also a key catalyst for ADDA’s United States Senate resolution that was unanimously approved by the U.S. Senate on July 6, 2004. The resolution declared September 7, 2004, national AD/HD awareness day and has been instituted every year since its inception.

Giwerc is a Professional Advisory Board member for PAAC, Professional Association of ADHD Coaches, a newly formed international organization dedicated to upholding the highest levels of credentialing, integrity, and ethics in the ADHD Coaching profession. He is also on the Professional Advisory Board of APSARD, the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders, an international medical and mental-health related society of professionals committed to improving the recognition and treatment of ADHD and related disorders, particularly in adults.
